I guess it’s safe to say that if you’re reading this, you’ve crossed over, so
Happy New Year 🥳🥳🥳

I can’t believe I haven’t posted since last year!! Yes, ’tis the season of dry jokes, because why not? So don’t get annoyed when you see things like,

“If yesterday was 2020, today is 2021, will tomorrow be 2022?”

Ok, ok, I’m done. Seriously though, thank God we made it into the new year! Thank God for life and health oh!

It’s that time again: time to draw up and revise timelines, review vision boards, outline plans for the year, all that good stuff. I’ve been tempted to just not bother, but that whole ‘fail to plan, plan to fail’ mantra still rings deep, and to be honest, there’s actually a number of goals and general life stuff I’m really excited to check off my list. Even just in the context of the blog, I’m excited to see how far UBT can grow and reach, and I’m hoping to implement updates in the course of the year. And I thought, what better way to talk about the updates on the blog, than on the blog? 😁

That being said, what do you think of the new look?

Also, starting next month, the UBT blog will come with a monthly newsletter! Basically, every month from next month, there’ll be an email waiting for you on the 1st, to welcome you and let you know what we’ll be talking about throughout the month. Yes, this is where we’ll be introducing all our series, compilations and what-not. Exciting stuff, no? Bear with me as I try to navigate this part of the journey and sort out the hitches and glitches. Still, the goal is to get things sorted out before/by February 1st, so wish me luck, and please subscribe to the mailing list to receive firsthand info, notifications (not unnecessary, bulky ones, promise!) and always be in the know about what’s going down in the blog. Besides, the day we blow to the level of giveaways (by God’s grace), you’d be the first to know 😎

Each one tell one; it’s free!

Another thing to note: this month, the theme is BOOKS! Oh yes, we have two authors in the house to give us some inside scoop into their latest publications. I mean, this is a space for writing, so what better way to kick off the year than to shine some light on writers doing their thing?

So grab a drink or two, sit tight, and enjoy the ride that is 2021. Here’s wishing us all a fun, memorable (for the right reasons), joy-filled year ahead.

Cheers to laughing louder, loving harder and generally living better.

Cheers to doing the things.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
🥂 to 2021!
